GENERAL TERMS

Monsieur Concierge (the "Provider") gives great importance to the privacy of its current, past or future customers, service providers and partners. ("You"). Monsieur Concierge wants to ensure the accuracy, security and confidentiality of personal information in accordance with applicable laws. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes, among other things, how Monsieur Concierge, collects, processes, uses, maintains and discloses the personal information it has in its possession.

This Policy also explains how You can ask questions and also how to review and update your personal information. We invite You to read this Policy and periodically check the last update because we may need to make changes from time to time.

 

1. CONSENT

By providing Monsieur Concierge your personal information, you allow the Provider to use and communicate it as part of its services, management of contractual relations, administration of its activities and that in accordance with this Policy and as authorized or required by law.

 

Monsieur Concierge will ask for your permission before using your personal information for purposes other than those covered by your initial consent.

 

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. However, without your consent Monsieur Concierge may not be able to provide or to continue to provide its Platform or online sale of concierge services. If you provide Monsieur Concierge or its suppliers or agents with personal information of another individual, you agree to hold the necessary authorization to do so and / or have obtained all necessary consents from that individual to enable Monsieur Concierge to collect, use and disclose personal information for the purposes set out in this Policy.

1. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND SCOPE

Personal information is collected especially in order to provide you Monsieur Concierge’s services of online sale of concierge services. Personal information collected includes but is not limited to, your name, home address, home telephone number, personal email address, and other information to provide you the best services. Also, such information will be used for customer-account administration, customer relationship management and to comply at all times with regulatory requirements. You also allow Monsieur Concierge to use your personal information in order to receive newsletters, promotions or any other relevant information related to our business.

 

In addition to the information you provide knowingly, Monsieur Concierge may also collect non-personal information such as IP addresses and domain names from visitors to its website in order to track usage statistics (eg. Web browsers and operating systems used) and maintain a browsing history. Monsieur Concierge uses this data to operate, promote its services and administer its website more effectively and only for that purpose.

 

Monsieur Concierge complies with the anti-spam provisions of the Canadian Anti-Spam Law ("CASL").

 

1. HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

Monsieur Concierge collects your personal information with your consent and in accordance with legal requirements. Wherever possible and appropriate, we collect your personal information directly from you or from people you have chosen to provide your personal information to.

 

We may also collect information through cookies or similar technologies including during visits to our website. These methods allow us to gather various types of information, including pages you visit, the emails you read as well as other information.

 

1. PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The security of your information is important to us. Monsieur Concierge takes technical security measures as well as contractual, administrative and physical safeguards to protect personal and confidential information that you provide. We ask our partners who have access to your personal information to use it only in accordance with the principles set out in this Privacy Policy and the laws applicable to each specific business.

 

Monsieur Concierge warrants at all times to respect the laws and regulations applicable to its business and to take all appropriate and necessary measures to detect and prevent negligence, fraud and theft of personal information.

 

Despite the security measures put in place, no mode of transmission or storage IS completely secure. Monsieur Concierge offers no guarantee of results with respect to the integrity or security of electronic communications with you and you consent to receiving electronic communications unencrypted from Monsieur Concierge. Moreover, Monsieur Concierge does not guarantee the security of your personal information.

 

1. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Monsieur Concierge may disclose to third parties information that can identify you for purposes related to our service to you with your consent or if the law requires or permits it. This could be to help in preparing legal proceedings, as part of investigations, or to help authorities in the exercise of their functions. Monsieur Concierge may also disclose your personal information to third parties as part of a reorganization of the Company or merger with another entity, or a sale of all or a substantial portion of the assets of the Company, provided that the personal information provided continue to be used for the purposes permitted by this Privacy Policy by the entity resulting from the reorganization.

 

When we publish ads, we will not share your personal information with advertisers without your permission. We may disclose information to advertisers by removing your name and other information that could identify you or combine it with other information so as to not allow identification. For example, we may tell an advertiser how its advertising impacts users or the number of people who viewed or clicked on their advertisements or who installed an app after seeing an advertisement.

 

1. ADS AND LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

One of our services may contain links to other websites. We try to link only to sites and services that share our high standards of respect for privacy, but please understand that we are not responsible for the content posted on other websites, or the privacy practices employed by other companies or websites. This Policy applies only to Monsieur Concierge.

 

1. ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Subject to certain exceptions, Monsieur Concierge may give you information about personal information it possesses about you, the use made of it and whether it has been communicated to third parties. You can also access this information in order to modify it or delete it.

We will acknowledge your request by email. We may ask you to confirm your identity before providing you with this information. In principle, access to this information will be provided for free, but if you request a copy or transmission of your information, we may charge a reasonable fee. We will inform you of the amount in advance and give you the opportunity to withdraw your request. We will give you access to your information within 30 days of receiving your request or provide you with an email notification to notify you that more time is needed to respond to your request.

 

In some cases, we may be unable to provide you access to information about you, in whole or in part. If we are unable or if the law does not allow it, we will provide an explanation and indicate which other measures are available.

 

1. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Monsieur Concierge reserves the right to modify or supplement this policy at any time. The changes will be effective when notice of such change is posted on Monsieur Concierge's website and such changes will be available upon request by contacting contact@monsieurconcierge.ca. Please check this Privacy Policy regularly for updates by checking the date of "Last Update" at the top of this document.

We are committed to use your personal information only in compliance of the Privacy Policy in effect at the time you provided your information or as required or permitted by law, unless you have expressly given us your consent to do otherwise.
